"A Thor-oroughly bad idea"

Films: Almighty Thor (2011)

Alias: Hellhounds and Demon Lizards

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of small buildings.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: In 2011, we saw the Marvel version of the legendary son of Odin hit the big screen for once, and it was an admirable effort, we must say. Sure, it wasn't the best out of the entire MCU, but we have a big soft spot for Chris Hemsworth's take on the character. Sadly, the Asylum wasn't far behind, and gave us a very VERY forgettable Thor. But hey, at least this one fought more monsters and wielded an SMG, so that counts for something, right?

History: Loki, having emerged from Helheim, decides to take over all the realms with an army of demonic creatures at his side. He even manages to trounce all of Valhalla, as well as kill the father and brother of Thor (now we KNOW this isn't meant to be an accurate myth). Enraged, Thor takes up training with a Valkyrie to find the power he needs to destroy Loki, who has gone to a modern city to make the citizens his slaves and instigate Ragnarok.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After Thor ends up in Helheim but forges his own new Mjolnir in the process, he heads back to the city to stop Loki, defeat him, and scare the remaining monsters away back to where they came from. Thor is now the official defender of the realms.

Powers/Abilities: They are all great diggers.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-This whole film reeks of low production values. Everything about it is as cheap as Asylum movies get. And the monsters are no exception. From the piss-poor CGI to the often unnatural and jerky movements they make during conflicts, it's safe to say that few people were actually caring when they made this guff. Even the slightly cool monster designs don't save them from being nothing but Helheim waste.

Trivia: -In true Norse mythology, Loki was actually not all that evil. Though his identity in pre-Christian Nordic myth is still something of a mystery, even afterward he was more of a mere shapeshifting trickster God who specialized in nothing truly malicious, but he was still pretty annoying to the rest of the pantheon. The only time he went too far was when he got into an incident involving mistletoe and the death of Baldur. From there, he was punished horribly by the other Gods. He also fathered Hel (the queen of Helheim), Jormungandr (the World Serpent), Fenrir (the monstrous giant wolf), and Sleipnir (Odin's eight-legged horse).

-Loki was played by Richard Grieco, who was known for his role in the original "21 Jump Street".
